South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking a Care Assistant for the The Poets in Worthing, West Sussex. The role involves delivering high-quality personal care, promoting independence, and supporting residents in a busy nursing home environment.

You will work 48 hours per week on day shifts. Training is provided, and we value a caring, energetic team player who is passionate about delivering excellent resident care.

We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team on Days at The Poets, our flagship nursing home in Worthing, West Sussex.

Hours of work: 48 hrs per week

As a Care Assistant you will be:

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents' personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

More about you:

• Ideally, you'll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;

Package:

• £12.25p/h weekdays £12.86 p/h Weekends rising to £12.65 p/h and £13.28 p/h
