South Coast Nursing Homes is recruiting a Care Assistant to join the Nights team at Berkeley Lodge, our specialist Dementia Nursing Home in Worthing. We offer 36hrs or 24hrs per week, including every other weekend.

You will provide high quality personal care, promote independence, assist with meals, and maintain accurate records. We provide full training, a pension, staff benefits and ongoing career development. Join a friendly, supportive team committed to compassionate care.

We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team on Nights at Berkeley Lodge our specialist Dementia Nursing Home in Worthing.

Hours – Full Time or Part Time – 36hrs or 24hrs per week - including every other weekend

As a Care Assistant you will be:

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

More about you:

• Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;
