Job summary

HC-One is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You’ll work under a Registered Nurse, supporting residents’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing through personal care, meals and daily activities.

You’ll help residents maintain independence, respond with compassion, and escalate safeguarding concerns as required. The role includes ongoing training and development opportunities within HC-One.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates empathy and patience in resident care.
• Works well in a team under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to communicate with residents, families and staff.
• Reliable and trustworthy in a care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care such as washing, dressing and hygiene.
• Support with meals and daily activities in the home.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns to the nurse in charge.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and attend required training.
