Job summary

Wood Care Group is hiring a Care Assistant in Barnsley to care for residents as you would for family, addressing physical, psychological and social needs. Full training is provided, and we welcome applicants with or without prior care experience who have a passion for care.

Qualifications

• Kind and caring people who want to make a difference.
• Level 2 in Health & Social Care or care certificate (desirable).
• Previous experience in a Care Home is desirable but not essential.
• Experience of leading a team.
• Flexible to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Attend Staff Meetings.
• Maintain personal and professional development to meet the needs of the home and participate in training.
• Ensure safeguarding responsibilities and whistleblowing policies are adhered to.
• Provide evidence of any untaken training.
• Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation.
• Complete all training as determined by the home.
