Job summary

Wood Care Group is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities, treating each person like family. We welcome applicants from care roles and those new to care, as full training is provided.

Preferred candidates may hold Level 2 Health & Social Care or a care certificate; experience leading a team and a confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills are valued. Flexible to work shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Health & Social Care or care certificate (desirable not essential)
• Experience leading a team (desirable)
• Confident communicator with verbal and written skills
• Flexible to work shifts

Responsibilities

• Attend staff meetings
• Maintain personal and professional development and participate in training
• Safeguarding responsibilities and whistleblowing policies adherence
• Provide evidence of any untaken training
• Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation
• Complete all training as determined by the home
