Wood Care Group is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities in a family-run setting. The role welcomes applicants with or without prior care experience, as full training is provided to develop essential skills.

We value kindness, reliability and strong communication, and you will join a team that supports safeguarding and resident wellbeing while offering ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Health & Social Care, or care certificate. However training is provided, so these are desirable, not essential.
• Previous experience in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
• Experience of leading a team.
• A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible to work shifts.

Responsabilités

• Care for residents with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing and meals.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in training and staff development.
• Support safeguarding responsibilities and promote resident safety and dignity.
• Maintain professional development to meet needs of the home and residents.
