Job summary

Wood Care Group in Swinton is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with personal care, meals and daily living activities. You will help maintain dignity and comfort, and work as part of a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 in Health & Social Care or a care certificate is desirable; training is provided.
• Previous care home experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience of leading a team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, washing, dressing and meals.
• Support residents' physical, psychological and social needs.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in training and development.
• Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are understood and followed to protect adults in care.
• Complete training as required and contribute to a safe, clean care environment.
