Job summary

Clarence Park Care Home in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with complex needs, including dementia and mental health conditions. You will work as part of a close-knit team to deliver person-centred care, promote dignity and wellbeing, and follow defined care plans.

The role is full-time with shifts across days and nights, contracting 36 hours per week. Benefits include paid DBS, pension, uniform, and onsite parking.

Qualifications

• As a Care Assistant, you will support individuals with a range of complex needs, including advanced dementia, mental health conditions and other long term health challenges.
• Provide safe, consistent and person centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Follow individual care plans and support structured routines to create a calm, stable environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents and respond to changes in behaviour or wellbeing.
• Deliver care safely and consistently at all times.
