Job summary

Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join its specialist complex care setting. You will maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment and support laundry services for residents.

You will clean rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards, assist with laundry tasks, and follow infection control and health & safety procedures to support a calm and respectful living environment.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Contribute to a well organised, hygienic and welcoming environment.
