Bluebird Care – Where you change lives is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support customers in North Tyneside. You will deliver kind, person-centered care in customers’ homes, helping with daily living activities while working either independently or as part of a supportive team.

The role emphasizes flexible hours, paid induction, and opportunities to advance within a caring, household environment. A driving licence and own vehicle are required, with a need to cover alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and own reliable vehicle
• Ability to commit to working alternate weekends
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship or visa transfer

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
