Job summary

Bluebird Care Cheshire East is looking for a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our expert team in Crewe, Nantwich & Sandbach. You will support customers in their own homes, delivering high-quality personal care and companionship, both independently and as part of a supportive team.

With full induction and expert training, you’ll work flexible shifts and earn £13.50 per hour with travel time paid. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prep, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
