Job summary

Bluebird Care Durham North is looking for a Female Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred home care in the North East. You will support daily living, work independently or as part of a supportive team, and help clients remain comfortable and independent at home.

We offer flexible hours, a full driving licence and a friendly environment with induction, training and opportunities for progression within a leading home care provider.

Qualifications

• Must have a full driving licence and a reliable vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
• Able to commit to alternating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for.
