Job summary

Bluebird Care Harrogate is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our expert team in Harrogate. You’ll support customers in their homes with daily living activities, delivering high-quality, compassionate care with guidance and ongoing training.

The role offers flexible shift patterns, including school-hours, weekends, and full-time or fixed-hour part-time options. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work without sponsorship or visa transfer.
• Previous healthcare assistant experience is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent communication and compassionate attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prep and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying and laundry.
• Be a dependable, friendly face for all customers.
