Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Care Assistant in Hereford to support clients at home with daily routines, personal care, and companionship. You’ll help with shopping, meals, and light household tasks, delivering dignity and independence.

No prior care experience is required; a kind attitude and a willingness to learn are enough. A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential. Training is provided and opportunities to progress.

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others . You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll bring:

• A warm , caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive , professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence
