Job summary

Bothwell Castle Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, invites applications for a Care Assistant. The role involves supporting residents with daily living, personal care and wellbeing, within a compassionate team. Training and development are provided, with PVG pension and uniform supplied.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm and positive environment.
