Job summary

SkyCare is recruiting Care Assistants /Senior HCA with NVQ2 & 3 for full-time positions in Pudsey, UK. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be within commutable distance, with 33-44 hours per week. Starting salary is £12.82 per hour.

No sponsorship provided. Face-to-face interviews will be conducted. Responsibilities include personal care, therapeutic engagement, monitoring and reporting, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support residents with dementia,

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in care preferred
• NVQ2/3 and Care Certificate desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
• Good understanding of needs of vulnerable adults
• Ability to work in a team and on own initiative

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to patients, including daily living activities
• Engage in therapeutic activities to aid recovery and manage distress
• Observe, document and report patient conditions to nursing staff
• Create a safe, compassionate environment respecting dignity and privacy
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans
• Recognize distress or crisis and respond to ensure safety
