Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a care role preferred.
• Experience with dementia and brain injury desirable.
• Care Certificate or equivalent is typically desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to patients including activities of daily living.
• Engage patients in therapeutic activities to aid recovery and manage agitation.
• Observe and document patient conditions and report to nursing staff.
• Create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for patients.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and support patients.
• Identify signs of distress and respond to ensure patient safety.
