Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes Ltd is seeking a Care Assistant to join our team at Blatchington Manor, a specialist dementia care and residential home. Hours are 36 or 42 per week, on days, with a pay rate structure that rewards weekends.

You will provide high-quality personal care, promote independence, and support residents and their families while recording care interactions in our system. We offer extensive training, progression opportunities and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Healthcare sector is preferred, but training will be provided.

We are looking for Care Assistant to join our team on days at Blatchington Manor, our specialist dementia care, residential home

Hours: 36 or 42 hrs per week.

As a Care Assistant you will be:

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents' personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

More about you:

• Ideally, you'll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;
