Job summary

Greensleeves Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant (Days) to support residents across 26 care homes in England. You will help with daily living, personal care, mobility and hygiene while upholding dignity and residents' rights.

The role emphasises confidentiality, empathy and the Greensleeves Care values of respect and responsibility. UK-based candidates only; sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Understanding of residents' needs.
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
• QCF diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable).
• Experience of providing care (Desirable).
• Experience of working with elders (Desirable).

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant (Days), you will:

• Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
• Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.

• Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable)
