Job summary

Roseberry Care is hiring a Care Assistant for Chapel Lodge in Chapeltown. You will support residents with daily personal care, meals, social activities and aim to promote independence and quality of life within a warm, person-centred team.

Role requires NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care or equivalent, and a willingness to work day/night shifts across a 44-hour week. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care is required or preferred.
• At least 1 year of care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication, listening and empathy skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence care.
• Help with mobility and transfers.
• Offer companionship and a friendly presence.
• Support mental and emotional well-being of residents.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition.

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you will support our residents in their day to day lives including providing personal care, social activities, and meals times to promote independence and maximise their quality of life.
