Job summary

Bluebird Care Epsom, Kingston and Sutton is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. You will support customers in their own homes, delivering high-quality personal and daily living assistance with compassion and professionalism.

We offer flexible shift patterns, part-time and full-time positions, and training. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred. DBS checks and references apply.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Compassionate attitude and calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation, nutrition and meal planning.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework and laundry.
• Be a dependable, friendly, familiar face for customers.
