Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support an individual at home in Luton. You will help the client live independently, providing personal care, feeding assistance, and mobility support.

The role includes driving the client to appointments, performing light domestic tasks, and conducting regular equipment safety checks. Full UK driving licence and a proactive, reliable approach are essential. DBS checked and training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with PEG feeding, bowel management, and moving and handling would be beneficial, but is not essential for this role.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Compassionate, reliable, and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to help the client live independently
• Drive the client to appointments

Shifts: Day Shifts 8 am - 9 pm | Every Friday, and every other Saturday

Job Description

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Complex Care Assistant to support an individual in their home, helping them live as independently as possible. It’s a great opportunity to develop your skills while making a real difference.

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide a high level of support tailored to his needs, including:

• personal care
• bowel and bladder management
• physiotherapy support
• driving the client to appointments
• meal preparation (including feeding assistance)
• light domestic tasks
• regular equipment safety checks.
