At Complete Care Amegreen, part of CCH, we live by our values of Community, Courage, and Heart and we’re looking for like-minded people to join our growing Complex Care team in Burleydam, Whitchurch.
I am looking for confident, motivated and empathetic care professionals with excellent communication skills to join my 24/7 care team and support me to live life to the fullest.
I have lived with a spinal cord injury since I was 17 following a car accident, and although I require support with most daily activities, I am passionate about maintaining my independence.
I’m a self-confessed geek who loves sci‑fi, comic cons, Star Trek and Doctor Who. Music is also a huge part of my life, from attending concerts to enjoying my sound system at home. I’m interested in computers, films, gaming and keeping active through exercise.
I believe it is also important to add that I love big dogs! At the moment I don't own a dog of my own; although I live with my mum and stepdad who have a newfoundland cross. In the past I did have 3 newfoundlands and a dogue de Bordeaux.
Although I can no longer walk and need assistance with most of my daily activities, I still have a strong desire to lead an independent lifestyle. With the support of my team, I know this is possible.
If you are interested in becoming part of a flexible and truly caring team within my home, broadening your medical and healthcare knowledge, and helping me live my life to the full, then we are here for you too.
Experience working in care would be beneficial for this role, but is not essential. You’ll receive full nurse-led training and ongoing clinical support to develop skills in various areas.
