Job summary

Saxon Care is hiring Care Assistants to support people in their own homes across Trowbridge and nearby areas. You will help maintain independence and quality of life while earning competitive pay and enjoying guaranteed hours with permanent contracts where applicable.

The role offers paid travel time, mileage allowance, and enhanced pay for unsociable hours, with full training provided for newcomers. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required, and sponsorship is not

Join Our Care Team in Trowbridge – Competitive Pay, Guaranteed Hours,

Location: Trowbridge, Salisbury, Melksham, Westbury, Warminster & surrounding areas.

Salary: £14.79 - £15.50 per hour, plus paid travel time, waiting time between calls and 45p per mile mileage allowance. Additional benefits include enhanced pay for unsociable hours and double-time compensation for work carried out on public holidays

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care and support to individuals living in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Your duties will include:

• Personal care and support with daily living activities
• Meal preparation and nutritional support
• Medication prompts and assistance where required
• Light household duties and domestic support
• Shopping and community access support
• Accompanying clients on outings and appointments
• Companionship and emotional support
• Encouraging independence and involvement in care planning
• Accurate recording and reporting of care visits

No Experience Needed – Full Training Provided!

Whether you are new to care or already have experience, we will provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
