Job summary

Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon seeks a caring Care Assistant to provide person‑centred support to residents across our services.

You will help with daily living tasks including personal care, mobility and nutrition, following care plans and reporting changes to ensure safe, compassionate care. Full training and ongoing development are provided in a supportive team.

This part‑time role is 22 hours per week at £13.60 per hour, with PVG, pension, uniform and 5.6 weeks annual leave.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 22 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
