Job summary

Glebe House Care Home in East Ayrshire is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care and mobility, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. You will follow care plans and contribute to safe, responsive care.

This role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development provided. The position is on a full-time basis with up to 44 hours per week and an hourly rate of £13.60, plus paid PVG pension and a uniform.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to up to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for.
