Job summary

Kingsacre Care Home in Clydebank is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, dignity and wellbeing. The role emphasizes person-centred care, following care plans and contributing to a safe, compassionate environment.

You will be part of a supportive team with full training and ongoing development; prior experience is beneficial but not essential, SVQ2 is desirable or you can work towards it.

Job description

Our purpose built service is positioned with views of the Campsie Hills near the historic town of Clydebank. Our care home is proud to offer up to 66-residents the highest standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite Care, as well as Palliative Care for older adults.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 36 hours per week
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
