Job summary

Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon is seeking a Care Assistant on a part-time basis. You will help residents with daily living, including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, while following care plans to ensure safety and wellbeing.

The role welcomes candidates with or without previous care experience, offering full training and ongoing development. PVG, pension and uniform are provided, with 22 hours per week and a £13.60 hourly rate.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 22 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
