Job summary

Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon is seeking a Care Assistant to provide person-centred care for residents, supporting daily living activities from personal care to mobility and nutrition. You will follow care plans, recognise changes in condition and contribute to safe, responsive care within a supportive team.

The role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development to help you grow in a compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 22 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
