Job summary

Care Concern Group, owner of Boclair Care Home in Glasgow, is recruiting a Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents. You will contribute to dignity, independence and wellbeing while working within a warm team.

Role offers full-time hours up to 44 per week, with a salary of £13.60 per hour. PVG pension, uniform provided and 5.6 weeks annual leave are included.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Support mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and monitor changes in condition.
• Create a safe, respectful environment for residents.

Job description

This luxurious, private care facility is situated in the affluent suburb of Glasgow. The care home offers elegant accommodation for up to 80-residents along with outstanding Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to up to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
