Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon is hiring a Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents, supporting dignity, independence and wellbeing. The role focuses on daily living tasks and compassionate companionship, in a warm, team-based environment.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional support, following care plans, documenting changes and contributing to safe, responsive care. Training and ongoing development are provided.

Qualificações

• Care experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

With an outstanding carehome.co.uk rating of 9.8 and Care Inspectorate grades of 5, 4, 5, 5, and 4, the home is committed to delivering the highest standards of care and comfort.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 22 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
