Job summary

Havencourt Care Home in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, is recruiting a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, following care plans to ensure safety and comfort.

You will work as part of a supportive team, with full training and development provided; prior experience is not essential, and SVQ Level 2 is desirable. The role offers a compassionate, person-centred approach in a close-knit UK care home environment.

Job description

Havencourt Care Home is situated in the picturesque town of Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, on Scotland’s beautiful northeast coast. We provide residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 42 residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents’ lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person‑centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
