Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Care Assistant for Yarnley House Care Home in Crow, near Ringwood. You will provide person-centered support with dignity and independence, helping residents with daily living and wellbeing.

Role requires flexibility to work alternate weekends; full training and ongoing development are provided. No prior care experience is essential, but a caring, reliable attitude is important to our teams.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willing to work towards.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, positive environment.

Job description

Our brand-new, luxury service is set in the small village of Crow, which is very close to Ringwood. We provide quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for 72-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.50 per hour
• Contracted to 24-48 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
