Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to support a young man with cerebral palsy in Ashington near Pulborough. Shifts include Mondays 7am-6pm, Sundays 10am-5pm plus bank days, with a requirement for a full UK licence and access to your own vehicle.

You will receive full training and clinical support to manage tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, PEG feeding, and more, while delivering personal care and meaningful social interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing personal care and support in a care setting.
• Ability to assist with PEG feeding and medication administration as required.
• Capable of supporting complex medical needs including tracheostomy and seizure care while maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Support a young man with cerebral palsy with daily living tasks and personal care.
• Assist with PEG feeding and supervising medication under clinical guidance.
• Provide companionship and social interaction while ensuring privacy and dignity.
