Job summary

Advantage Healthcare is seeking a Compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support an individual at home, helping them live as independently as possible. The role includes personal care, bowel management, physiotherapy support, and driving the client to appointments, with meal preparation and light domestic tasks.

You will be required to have PEG feeding and bowel management experience, a Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and a proactive, communicative approach to teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with PEG feeding, bowel management, and moving and handling.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Compassionate, reliable, and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care tailored to the individual's needs.
• Manage bowel and bladder care (bowel care experience essential).
• Provide physiotherapy support where appropriate.
• Drive the client to appointments.
• Assist with meal preparation including feeding.
• Carry out light domestic tasks.
• Conduct regular equipment safety checks.

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide a high level of support tailored to his needs, including:

• personal care
• bowel and bladder management (experience in bowel care is essential)

• regular equipment safety checks.
