Job summary

CCH Group, via Advantage Healthcare, is seeking a Complex Care Care Assistant to support a client in Bridgend. You will assist with personal care, daily activities, and mobility, helping the client live independently at home.

No prior experience is required; full training and paid induction are provided. A full UK driving license is essential, and you should be comfortable around pets. DBS checks and career progression opportunities are available.

Location: Bridgend

Pay: Up to £14 per hour

Shifts: 07:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 23:00

Driver required due to travel with the client in the community.

Job Description

What you’ll do

In this role, you will be providing care for a client based in the Bridgend area. This client has a spinal cord injury and Autonomic Dysreflexia, with catheter and bowel care. Our client requires support with personal care, manual handling and their day to day tasks.

Our client lives at home with their family, enjoys watching sports and going out and socialising with friends.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Willing to enhance and learn new skills. Experience is not a requirement for this role, although it would be beneficial
• Is happy to work alongside pets, as one of the clients has cats and dogs in the property
• Friendly, caring person who is enthusiastic to help our clients with their daily routines.
• Full UK driving license required.
