Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group Ltd (CCH) is seeking a compassionate care assistant to support a client in Bridgend who has a spinal cord injury and autonomic dysreflexia. You will assist with personal care, daily tasks and mobility, in the client’s home, ensuring comfort, dignity and safety.

No prior experience is required as full training and paid induction are provided, along with a free DBS check and opportunities for career progression within the group.

Qualifications

• Willing to enhance and learn new skills. Experience is not required for this role.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Friendly, caring person who is enthusiastic to help our clients with their daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with day-to-day tasks.
• Assist with mobility and daily routines within the client’s home.
• Support the client in social activities and daily living with family.

Job Description

What you’ll do

In this role, you will be providing care for a client based in the Bridgend area. This client has a spinal cord injury and Autonomic Dysreflexia, with catheter and bowel care.Our client requires support with personal care, manual handling and their day to day tasks.

Our client lives at home with their family, enjoys watching sports and going out and socialising with friends.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Willing to enhance and learn new skills. Experience is not a requirement for this role, although it would bebeneficial
• Is happy to work alongside pets, as one of the clients has cats and dogs in the property
• Friendly, caring person who is enthusiastic to help our clients with theirdaily routines.
• Full UK driving license required.
