Job summary

Mosswood Care Home in Linwood is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team, delivering person-centred care for residents with dementia or physical disabilities. You will support daily living, dignity and wellbeing, following care plans and ensuring safe, responsive care.

Full training and ongoing support are provided, with PVG sponsorship, pension, uniform, and generous annual leave. Contracted to 32.5–39 hours per week at £13.60 per hour, with opportunities for development within

Job description

Mosswood Care Home in Linwood provides expert 24-hour nursing care for older adults living with dementia or physical disabilities. Our friendly, dedicated team ensures residents enjoy a warm, supportive environment with fantastic facilities—including welcoming social areas, a hair salon, a reminiscence room, and even a cinema. Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 32.5 / 39 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
