Job summary

Mossview Care Home is a modern residence in Lochgelly, Scotland, offering Residential and Dementia care for up to 42 residents. We seek a Care Assistant to deliver person-centred care with training and development provided.

You will assist with daily living, follow care plans, and work within a supportive team to create a warm, respectful environment where residents feel valued and safe.

Qualifications

• Care assistant with a caring and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living such as personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Follow care plans and monitor changes to ensure safe, responsive care.
• Contribute to a warm, supportive environment as part of a team.

Mossview Care Home is a modern residence located in the heart of Lochgelly, Fife, providing high quality Residential and Dementia care for up to 42 residents. The home offers a supportive and welcoming environment where residents receive person centred care and feel truly at home.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 38.5 hours per week
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
