Job summary

Care Concern Group's Mearns View Care Home in Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire, is hiring a Care Assistant. The role offers dayshift, full or part-time contracts, and up to 44 hours per week at £13.60 per hour. PVG pension, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave are included.

Training and development support are provided to help you grow in a caring team environment. You will help residents with daily living, follow care plans, and contribute to a warm, respectful atmosphere where dignity

Our purpose built, luxury 67-bed care facility is located in the charming town of Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire. We are proud to provide a range of services which includes Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite & Palliative Care.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to up to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based a full time contract)

Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
