Job summary

Agincare is hiring a Home Carer to support clients in their own homes with daily routines, personal care, meals, and companionship. The role emphasizes dignity, empathy, and building lasting connections within the community.

We offer fully funded professional training up to QCF level 5, flexible contracts, refer-a-friend rewards, and a pension scheme. A driving licence is preferred and eligibility requires 12 months of right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others.
• No prior care experience required; attitude and caring nature can be taught.
• Warm, caring and compassionate approach to supporting others.
• Strong people skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Right to work in the UK for at least 12 months (visa sponsorship not available).
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily routines, including household tasks and personal care.
• Shop for groceries, prepare nutritious meals, and make a comforting cup of tea.
• Provide companionship, a listening ear and friendly conversation.
• Assist with medication.
