Care By Us Ltd is recruiting Care Assistants to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs across Hertfordshire. You’ll provide person-centred support, promote independence and help with daily living tasks in a caring, empowering environment.

We offer training, flexible full-time or part-time roles, mileage allowances, and opportunities for career progression within a growing UK care company.

• Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily living activities and promoting independence.
• Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming).

• Preparing meals, drinks and monitoring nutrition.
• Household tasks: cleaning, laundry, shopping, errands.

Your Role as a Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant, you'll provide person-centred support to help people live independently and enjoy fulfilling lives.

• Supporting daily living activities & promoting independence
• Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
• Supporting with mobility, transfers & aidsProviding medication support as per care plans
• Preparing meals, drinks & monitoring nutrition
• Helping with household tasks (cleaning, laundry, shopping, errands)
• Offering companionship, reassurance & emotional support
• Encouraging hobbies, interests & community activities
• Keeping accurate records & communicating with families/professionals
• No experience is necessary - we'll train you in everything else!

Pay Rates

• Weekdays (Mon-Fri): £14.70 per hour
• Weekends (Sat-Sun): £16.50 per hour
• Mileage allowance: £0.30p per mile
