Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group Ltd is seeking Care Assistants to support service users in their own homes across Bishop's Stortford area. You will provide personal care, companionship and practical help, following individual care plans to promote independence and dignity. Shifts include mornings, days and evenings; weekend work is required.

Job description

Location:Bishops Stortford and surrounding areas

Pay Rate:£12.60 per hour weekdays and £13.00 per hour at weekends

Shifts:

• Mornings 9am until 2pm
• Days 8am until 4pm
• Evenings 4 or 5pm until 9pm

Must be available to work weekends.

You will be looking after our service users on a one to one basis.

Due to the nature of this role, a car driver/owner is essential.

Care Assistant: Role & Responsibilities

Our care assistants are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting them to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet and supporting them with their medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.
