Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group in Leigh is seeking a care support worker to assist a young person with Cerebral Palsy with personal care, mobility, and transportation to college and social activities.

You will drive a manual vehicle, help the client live independently, and receive nurse-led training. Shifts include days and nights, offering variety and the chance to grow within a large UK care group.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable.
• Experience supporting a young person is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• UK full manual driving license is essential.
• Full Nurse Led training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the client with Cerebral Palsy with personal care, bowel management, and mobilisations.
• Assist them while attending college, including driving to and from college and social activities.
• Help them live as independently as possible on site.

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Shifts Available: 7am to 8pm days and 7.30pm to 8am nights awake

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with Cerebral Palsy, they need support with personal care, bowel management, mobilisations, assisting them whilst attending college, including driving them to and from college and social activities. Our client enjoys a variety of activities, they are a social young person who lives with parents on site and you will be supporting them to live independently as possible.

Qualifications

UK full manual driving license is essential.
