Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is seeking a live-in carer to support a client at their home in Hessay near York. You will assist with personal care, social activities, and daily routines, staying vigilant to safety and comfort.

No prior care experience is required but is preferred, and full training will be provided. We value compassionate individuals who can build strong relationships with the client and care team, demonstrate teamwork, and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• This role requires compassion and the ability to build relationship with the client and existing care team.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Team working is important for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Live in Carer during breaks and provide two-to-one care when required.
• Help the client with personal care and daily routines.
• Support social activities and access to community; help maintain hobbies.

Job Description

This role is caring for our client in their own home based in Hessay near York, they have a spinal injury and need support to live independently and this role be assisting the Live in Carer with their breaks and when two to one care is required. This may include helping the client with personal care , socialise, access the community or enable them to keep up with their interests and hobbies

Qualifications

This role requires compassion and the ability to build relationship with the client and existing care team.
