Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is hiring a Care Assistant to support a young client with Cerebral Palsy. The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, and driving to college and social activities.

You’ll work within a supportive team and benefit from nurse-led training and career development opportunities. Shifts run 7am–8pm days and 7:30pm–8am nights, with an emphasis on enabling the client to live as independently as possible.

Qualifications

• Care experience is desirable.
• Experience supporting a young person is desirable.
• UK full manual driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and mobility for the client with Cerebral Palsy.
• Drive client to college and social activities and support participation.
• Help the client live independently as much as possible.

Pay Rate:£13.00 per hour

Shifts Available: 7am to 8pm days and 7.30pm to 8am nights awake

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with Cerebral Palsy, they need support with personal care, bowel management, mobilisations, assisting them whilst attending college, including driving them to and from college and social activities. Our client enjoys a variety of activities, they are a social young person who lives with parents on site and you will be supporting them to live independently as possible.

Qualifications

Previous care experience is desirable.

Experience supporting a young person is desirable.

UK full manual driving license is essential.

Full Nurse Led training will be provided.
