Job summary

Care By Us Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated care assistant to support a young client with Cerebral Palsy. You will assist with personal care, mobility, and accompany them to college and social activities.

A UK full manual driving license is essential; training will be provided. The role includes day and night shifts, fostering independence and safety at home and in the community. You’ll join City & County Healthcare Group family, with opportunities and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable.
• Experience supporting a young person is desirable.
• UK full manual driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support a client with Cerebral Palsy in personal care, bowel management and mobilisations.
• Assist with attending college and accompany to social activities including driving to/from college.
• Support the client to live as independently as possible at home and in the community.
• Maintain safety and dignity, and support parents in daily routines.

Pay Rate:£13.00 per hour

Shifts Available: 7am to 8pm days and 7.30pm to 8am nights awake

Job Description

This role is supporting our client with Cerebral Palsy, they need support with personal care, bowel management, mobilisations, assisting them whilst attending college, including driving them to and from college and social activities. Our client enjoys a variety of activities, they are a social young person who lives with parents on site and you will be supporting them to live independently as possible.

Qualifications

UK full manual driving license is essential.

Full Nurse Led training will be provided.
