Care Concern Group's Pottersway House Care Home in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to guide and support the care team, ensuring safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care for residents. You will oversee medication, monitor wellbeing and maintain accurate records, coordinating with families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

The role requires leading a team, strong communication skills and a caring, professional approach.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum); Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
• Strong communication and leadership skills

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.

• £13.71 per hour
• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
