Job summary

Care Concern Group, including Hutton Park Care Home in Largs, is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant. You will support residents with daily living, help with personal care, mobility and nutrition, and follow care plans to ensure dignity and comfort.

Open to experienced carers or newcomers, with full training and development provided. PVG, pension, and uniform are paid or supplied, with a 42-hour week at £13.60 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to provide safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, positive environment for residents.
• Provide high quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Participate in training and ongoing development offered by the employer.

Hutton Park Care Home is a privately-owned, luxurious residence located in the scenic seaside town of Largs. Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 42 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
