Job summary

Cera is seeking a community carer to support clients across East Ayrshire, including Kilmarnock and nearby towns. No prior experience required, just a big heart and a willingness to help others.

You will provide personal care, help with medications and meals, and travel between visits in clients’ own homes. The role offers flexible shifts (mornings to nights) with weekends off every other week, plus enhanced benefits such as mileage payments, pension, and a company mobile phone.

The Role

Supporting clients in Kilmarnock, Stewarton, Galston, Darvel, Newmilns, Mauchline, Catrine, Sorn, Auchinleck, New Cumnock, Ochiltree, Drongan, Dalrymple, Coyltonand surrounding areas, this is a community-based role, where you will assist with personal care, medication, and meals, visiting people in their own homes and travelling between client visits. For this role, a driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.

Registration

In Scotland, all care staff register with the SSSC. You must maintain registration and work towards your SVQ2 (funded by Cera; SVQ registration fee payable by employee).

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
